For over 100 years there are trade unions’ structures in oil and gas industry. Today ROGWU is the largest industrial union in our country. Activities of ROGWU aims to protect workers' rights in oil and gas industry at all stages of production; to compliance with labour contract and to provide the employee with all the necessary social and economic guarantees.

I am sincerely pleased to welcome you on our Web-site of the Russian Oil, Gas and Construction Workers’ Union.

In a century of the latest information technologies, the use of the Internet has been considerably expanding the availability of the information on the trade union movement.

Our trade union is affiliating about 1,300,000 members.

Functioning in 65 subjects of the Russian Federation are some 2,500 primary union organizations, 28 territorial elective bodies, 6 inter-regional trade union organizations of the Companies LUKOIL, Gazprom, Sibur-Holding, Tatneft, Novatech and NK Rosneft.

The Russian Oil, Gas and Construction Workers’ Union has been actively working within the Association of Trade Unions of Workers in Base Industries and Construction of the Russian Federation, as well as the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia. We obtained the recognition at the international level, having affiliated with the International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers’ Unions (ICEM) and the International Confederation of Trade Unions of Oil and Gas Industry and Construction of Oil and Gas Complex (MK NGSP).

On our site, we are going to publish various materials regarding the activities and the life of our trade union, the cooperation with other trade unions and the international organizations, answers by experts of the Russian Council of the trade union to questions being of interest to you.

Our goal is to establish a common information field of the trade union, to strengthen ties and efficiency in the exchange of information flows both, between the Russian Council of the trade union and its structural organizations, as well as between structural union bodies.
