On 14 March 2016 the president of ROGWU Lev Mironov had a working meeting with the director of Second European Department of Russian MFA Igor Neverov. The meeting was also attended by the deputy director of Second European Department of Russian MFA Alexander Gremitskikh, the advisor of the Russian Embassy in Norway Sergey Gushin, the secretary of ROGWU Sergey Drandrov and the leading speacialist of International Department of ROGWU Aida Kalantaryan.
During the meeting mainly were discussed the issues of collaboration between the Russian MFA and ROGWU in order to develop and support the initiative “Northern Dialogue”. Should be noted, that the decision to form an international inter-regional platform “Northern Dialogue” was made in November 2015 in Bodo, Norway.
During the exchanges of thoughts and information on possible international cooperation between the subjects of Russian Federation and the provinces of Norway, was made a decision to use all the possible ways of interaction, especially in the political situation we have today.
Lev Mironov informed all the members of the meeting about the Russian-Norwegian cooperation program, working meetings and the agreements that have been made during the last visit to Oslo,Norway.
Igor Neverov commended all the achievements ROGWU have made in international relationship development between Russia and Norway and affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation is ready to provide all the necessary assistance.
Should be reminded that earlier this year, the delegation of ROGWU has visited Oslo, Norway with working meetings at the Trade Mission of Russian Federation in Norway, a working meeting with Leif Sande, the President of Norwegian Trade Union ‘Industri Energi’ and a working meeting with Vyacheslav Pavlovski, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Norway.
